The Best Birthday of My Life!!

I am a huge baseball fan, so on July 26th, my 26th birthday, all I wanted to do was to go to the Cardinals/Cubs baseball game at Busch Stadium, and to have my name on the board. Ryan got us great seats and told me not to go anywhere during the 5th inning because my name would be listed. The 5th inning came along and my eyes were glued to the board until Fredbird walked down our aisle. I freaked out and insisted that I needed my picture taken with him. Ryan called him over and told him it was my birthday. Fredbird gave me a huge hug and then turned me around for what I thought would be a picture of us. Instead, what I saw was Ryan down on one knee. I have no idea what he said to me, because I instantly started bawling. I don't think I even said yes, I think I only managed a nod. Fredbird got the crowd around us on their feet and they applauded for us. Ryan even thought to give the girl behind us our camera, and we have amazing pictures of the whole thing. After that, we had a hard time focusing on the game, so Ryan suggested we go to the Ritz-Carlton and celebrate with some champagne. I agreed, but insisted that we go home first so I could change into a dress. When we arrived at the Ritz-he surprised me again with an amazing suite for the night (it was bigger than our apartment) stocked with champagne, a bottle of great wine, roses, and chocolate. He'd even packed a bag for me. It was definitely the best birthday of my life, and one I'll never forget.
